For the cultivation of yeast and filamentous fungi. For the cultivation of pathogenic and nonpathogenic fungi, especially dermatophytes. The medium may be made more selective for fungi by the addition of chloramphenicol. Fluconozole (final concentration of 8–16mg per mL) may also be added to test for antibiotic sensitivity.
